PURPOSE OF PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA

In accordance with Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights and Regulation (EU) 2016/679, if you send us an email at the address provided or fill in any data collection form, we inform you that the personal data you provide will be processed and included in processing activities controlled by OVOHORSE IBERICA SL for the following purposes:

  • To handle your enquiry.

OVOHORSE IBERICA SL declares that it has adopted all the security measures that are necessary and appropriate under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and Organic Law 3/2018, and has put in place all the technical means available to it in order to prevent the loss, misuse, alteration, unauthorised access to or theft of the data you provide.

PRINCIPLES WE APPLY TO THE DATA YOU PROVIDE

Lawfulness, fairness and transparency: we will always request your consent to process your personal data for one or more specific purposes, which we will inform you about beforehand with complete transparency.

Purpose limitation: data are collected for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes and will not be further processed in a manner incompatible with those purposes.

Data minimisation: we will only request data that are strictly necessary for the purposes for which we need them — as little as possible.

Accuracy: data will be accurate and, where necessary, kept up to date.

Storage limitation: data will be kept for no longer than is necessary for the purposes of the processing, depending on each purpose.

Integrity and confidentiality: your data will be processed in a way that ensures appropriate security and confidentiality. We take all necessary precautions to prevent unauthorised access to, or misuse of, our users’ data by third parties.

Accountability: OVOHORSE IBERICA SL will be responsible for compliance with the above principles, and we will adopt the technical and organisational measures that enable us to demonstrate such compliance.

LEGITIMATE GROUNDS AND LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING

At OVOHORSE IBERICA SL, personal data are processed on the following basis:

the contractual relationship established for the provision of the services requested, and legitimate interest; or
your consent to the processing of your data for one or more specific purposes, always given by means of a clear affirmative action. The User or client has given their informed consent to receive commercial communications, to the installation of tracking systems that report on browsing habits as set out in the Cookie Policy, or to the sending of information requested through contact forms.
On some occasions, processing is necessary to protect the vital interests of the data subject or of another natural person.

The legal basis for processing your data on our website is CONSENT and, if you are already a client, PERFORMANCE OF A CONTRACT.

You may ask us for the legal basis of each of our processing activities by requesting our record of processing activities.

DATA RETENTION PERIOD

At OVOHORSE IBERICA SL, we aim to retain the personal data provided only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which they were collected and to determine any liability that may arise from that purpose.

Retention criteria: data will be kept for the period required by law, for as long as there is a mutual interest in maintaining the purpose of the processing and until it is no longer necessary for that purpose, for as long as the contractual relationship remains in force, and for as long as the data subject does not request their erasure and they do not have to be kept to comply with a legal obligation or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. They will be deleted using appropriate security measures to ensure the pseudonymisation or complete destruction of the data.

If the User withdraws their consent or exercises the right to cancellation or erasure, their personal data will be kept blocked and at the disposal of the courts for the legally established periods in order to address any liability arising from the processing. They will then be deleted using appropriate security measures to ensure the pseudonymisation or complete destruction of the data.

All the disclosures listed below are necessary to fulfil the purposes indicated above or are carried out to comply with a legal obligation. Personal data may be disclosed to:

INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

As a general rule, your data are processed by service providers located within the European Union or in countries that have been recognised as providing an adequate level of data protection. However, on occasion, in order to fulfil the purposes indicated above, certain companies providing services to OVOHORSE IBERICA may access your personal data (international data transfers).

Such transfers are made to countries with a level of protection comparable to that of the European Union (European Commission adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses and certification mechanisms), and we will always ensure that whoever holds your information to help us provide our services does so with all the necessary data protection safeguards.
